India begins mass #COVID-19 vaccination program

India is relying on two vaccines that have received emergency use approval from the drugs regulator — Covishield:

• a version of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine, produced by the Serum Institute of India, and 
• Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin.
