Resetting the Local Group Policy Settings on Windows 10

  • Search "gpedit" and open Local Group Policy editor window on your computer.
  • After reaching the Local Group Policy Editor window, click on the following path: “Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > All Settings.”
  • Change the state of those policies from Enabled/Disabled to Not Configured.
  • find the following path in the Group Policy Editor window: “Local Computer Policy>User Configuration>Administrative Templates>All settings.”
  • Change the state of those policies from Enabled/Disabled to Not Configured.
  • Restart your computer system to make the resetting take effect.
