As US Marks 9/11 Attacks, Trump Reignites Controversy in Remarks

The United States marked the 18th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks with ceremonies at the crash sites in New York City, the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. In his remarks at the Pentagon, President Donald Trump praised first responders but also reignited controversy about where he was on the day of the attacks.
